Leadership
Three founders. One system.
Karis is led by the three people who started it, and clients work with them directly: founders who listen for the real problem, and a founder who builds what others cannot.
Co-founder · Strategy & Clients
Tanmay Bundiwal
Finds the real problem before anything gets built.
Tanmay leads strategy and engagements at Karis, and brought its founding team together. He sets the company’s direction and finances, and runs each engagement from first meeting to delivery. Since 2022, he has led a turnaround at Rama Group, his family’s business, growing revenue 4× in three years. Along the way he has sold directly to government departments in more than ten cities across central, western and eastern India, learning how public institutions actually buy, decide and deliver. He also built Burrrn Graphics, a printing and signage company, on borrowed capital and repaid it from its own earnings within 18 months. He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of British Columbia.

Before that he founded and ran two hospitality businesses in Nagpur, took both to break-even within two months of opening, and grew them past $200,000 in gross revenue over two years. A note from the founders
We started Karis because the systems India runs on deserve better. We listen until we understand what is actually going wrong, build only what fits, and stay until it holds up on its busiest day.
Too often a department buys a system, a vendor delivers it, and the problem it was bought to solve is still there a year later. When you work with Karis, you work with the three people who started it, from the first conversation to the system in use.
